What Makes the Nokta Legend 2 Different?
The Legend 2 is more than an original Legend with a different screen. Nokta revised the physical design, expanded the identification system, increased battery capacity and added new controls intended to make the detector easier to customize and more comfortable during long hunts.
A More Detailed 1–99 Target ID System
The expanded 1–99 Target ID range provides more identification segments than the original Legend’s 60-ID scale. Target numbers can still move because of depth, corrosion, target angle, nearby metal and soil conditions, but the wider range gives experienced users more information when deciding whether to investigate a signal.
Simultaneous Multi-Frequency and Five Single Frequencies
Simultaneous multi-frequency operation is useful when ground conditions or target types change during a hunt. You can also select 4, 10, 15, 20 or 40 kHz when a specific single-frequency response better suits your site or target.
Five Search Modes, Including Relic Mode
Park, Field, Beach, Relic and Gold modes provide practical starting points for different environments. The dedicated Relic Mode gives hunters another option for older sites and iron-contaminated ground, while Beach Mode is designed for dry sand, wet salt sand and shallow-water detecting.
Two Coils for Very Different Sites
