First I'd like to say Bart the proprietar is now my go to for all my metal detecting needs, very knowledgeable and sincere plus gives the best deals anywhere. Secondly, I bought my first metal detector after weeks of researching and Bart agreed the Nokta Legend would be a good entry level detector for me since not knowing if its a hobby Id stick with or not. Well, I just purchased a Deus 2 from him today if that tells you anything. I received the Legend mid Aug 2023 and didnt really get out using it much right away. I had high expectations I must admit especially because I found a Sterling Silver bracelet by a picnic table at a State Park so the fever started from there. I was only detecting maybe 1-2 days a week, best finds after that were an Indian head penny I had gotten permission on a property to search and a few really old military buttons, one that was at least 15 inches deep. I was getting frustrated, only finding clad and garbage so I tried cherry picking with only high target IDs and my results were worse. I had been at it for 2+ months at that point and decided Im going to dig everything as it was the only way to get to know the Legend truly! I said please just let me find 3 silver coins by the New Year thats all! Well ladies and gentlemen, as of today I still havent found any old silver coins but what I did find was a total of 58 grams of 22 carat gold in the form of a chain. I first began unearthing it one link at a time and had eventually dug up 47 gold links all weighing exactly 1.25 grams each. At first I didnt think it was real and thought it might have been an old dog chain collar but I went home mid day and did a gold scratch test 3 times. I hauled back to that location until it looked almost like a gravel pit when I was done...yes I did fill my holes in and all that. So the Legend has paid for itself 5-6 times over if you do that math. The Legend was quite consistent with 32-34 Target ID so I was dialed in and pillaged the location multiple times to ensure I found it all. My results are not typical of those who just start out in detecting, I got very lucky but its because I started digging everything that was non ferrous and while I still have my Mercury Dime and silver halfs to find yet, Im blown away with my discovery and look forward to detecting every weekend like its Christmas. The Legend is a very capable machine and once you really get to know it is when youll get better and better results. Im looking forward to the new detector's arrival and learning it over time. The Legend has its pros and cons but for the money you wont touch a better machine. Buy from Bart or call him first, he knows his products and will give you the best deal around.

I've taken the Nokta Legend machine out on 4 separate days and weekends, for a total of 40 hours. Every trip I retrieve several pieces of jewelry and gold and 15-35 older coins, and this is all from an iron-infested trashy park that I use for testing new machines only. I never expected to get luck into more than a few coins from this park since it has been hit so hard. This machine is awesome on target ID, separation and depth. The deeper targets sound out almost as good as the shallow easier ones. It seems to handle the mineralized ground soil and iron infestation of nails very well. It will be replacing the other multi-frequency machine that I paid a much higher price for very soon I think. And frankly just produces more. No reason not to use the best machine I have with this legend!
